We have been very excited to work on one of the first prefabricated Ecococon panel buildings in the UK! In this barn conversion project, the straw panels sit within the footprint of the existing concrete frame with new steico roof joists on top.
We have been involved in the technical design and construction drawings, applying our principles of natural, cement-free material specification and breathable healthy building design to a newer method of making straw-insulated buildings.
This project is also an amazing example of an inspiring self-build home, which is currently on-site.
