Designed by Anne Thorne Architects, with consultancy from Straw Works. From the very early stages of the design, Barbara Jones was involved in advising ATA.
The construction of the building also involved members of the community, back when Straw Works offered on-site training and courses (now operated by the School of Natural Building).

It was a predominantly female construction site, with the all-female ATA and the support of Barbara!
