Extension to listed building Todmorden
Built in 2016, this lovely loadbearing extension was designed by Straw Works and built predominantly by the owner, with some expert help from a strawbale carpenter and SNaB, who ran training courses on straw, lime and clay. The listed building permission was easily obtained as the materials used are all natural, in keeping with the heritage of the original stone and lime house.
