With plans to build an outdoor classroom at Bronte House School in Bradford, straw captured the school’s imagination so they reached out to Barbara for guidance.
The design of the loadbearing straw structure and the self-build training were both provided by amazonails. Built on the site of an old swimming pool with gravel trench foundations, this community project was completed with the help of parents in 2015 to facilitate outdoor learning.
