An existing pottery storage barn was transformed into an open plan café and events space at this Warwickshire pottery business. After receiving consultancy from Straw Works and training from SNaB, the existing timber frame was refurbished with infill straw.
With an insulated corrugated roof and rafter extensions to create a covered veranda, there is both indoor and outside space to enjoy the Cotswolds hills and a slice of homemade cake! The Straw Kitchen, amongst galleries and gardens, is open to the public at Whichford Pottery.
